Opposite a park with a lovely old bandstand you will find this great eatery. It is only open evenings and there is free parking across the road after 6.00 pm. The food was very good and usual we ordered far to many dishes in order to get a wide range of tastes. We were not disappointed but vey full. So Pin and her team we’re very efficient and cheerful without being pushy. Highly recommend a visit.

Superb Chinese, all freshly made to order. Fabulous menu with too many delicious foods to try. My sister is a regular visitor and it was just the two of us on this occasion. We had the ribs, dumplings, chicken chow mein, squid and sizzling prawns.......so delicious!

Arrived at our Premier Inn just down the road from here at 5.30pm after 6 hours on the road from Yorkshire, only to be told the hotel bar/restaurant is booked up until 7.45pm . So Google maps to the rescue which pointed out this little gem only a 20 min walk away on this lovely sunny evening. The restaurant’s blended rating just achieved our minimum threshold and so we turned up at unannounced 6.20pm. “Booked up”... but a table for 2 was just being cleared if we wanted to wait 5 mins. We did and glad we did! In summary, excellent attentive service from all the staff, food was absolutely excellent (we took the canton feast for 2 to try something different from our usual choices ...and it was amazing) - if we lived down this way, we’d definitely be here more often. We’ll definitely keep it in mind next time we’re cruising from Southampton (and we’ll definitely book next time too!!). Great value satisfying Chinese food. Highly recommended. Thanks for fitting us in team!!

We had a brilliant experience dining on the buffet menu at the Peking Phoenix. The restaurant has been redecorated and the food is excellent cooked fresh to order. The new management are very friendly and we look forward to returning again soon.

Delicious food cooked to perfection. Great value for money as well. There is a great selection of main dishes and as a mixed party of non vegetarian and vegetarian we all had lovely food.

We love it here. My kids and I love the buffet menu. The food is cooked to order and is always very delicious. The crispy duck is amazing!! All the items we had were amazing actually. The staff are fab, so friendly and attentive. We were last there with a party of 6 for my twins birthday and it everyone enjoyed it. Highly recommend
